Streatham Redskins are pleased to announce that Shaun Smith has now joined the roster after a switch from Elite League side Dundee Stars.
The nineteen year old Scot has already made his first two appearances in a Redskins jersey and will continue with the squad for the rest of the season.
A relation of former Redskins forward Dave Smith and also current rookie Daniel Clayton, Shaun is a calm and composed blue liner with a smooth skating style and good hands. He joins the Redskins after making 15 appearances in the Elite League with Dundee and has featured on the first and second lines of the Redskins blue line already.
A product of the Dundee junior development system, Shaun first made his debut for the Elite League Stars in 2010 after a spell with the clubs SNL side Dundee Comets.
Smith will wear the number 38 jersey until a permanent team number is confirmed.
