Streatham Redskins have a big home game this Sunday as they face Milton Keynes in a crunch clash at the bottom half of the table. With an 18.45 face off Redskins will be hoping that a win over MK rounds off a four point weekend as the team face Wightlink Raiders on the Isle of Wight on Saturday.
“Milton Keynes have had a tough start to the season much like ourselves” admitted Redskins alternate Captain Dave Carr.
“We have quality in our squad and if we can take care of their key guys in our own zone then there is no reason we cant get two points’
“The trip to Wightlink will obviously be tough but it is a small ice pad and anything can happen. We have to believe we can get something from that game otherwise we might as well not get on the ferry and waste ours and everyone elses time”
Tickets for the home game on Sunday are available online and in advance to save you queuing outside in the cold.

Also don’t forget our popular 50/50 draw that last week was the biggest cash prize of the season so far.
The Official programme features exclusive articles not all available on line including a fascinating exclusive interview with Britains Olympic referee Joy Tottman who talks about her memories of reffing at Streatham in the early years of her career, her hopes for the Winter Olympics, Sochi, Russia in 2014 and her personal view on London ice hockey and the introduction of four man reffing systems in the NIHL.
We also have the usual Captains log from Joe Johnston, ‘For what its worth’ by Ed, a guide to Milton Keynes, reports, stats, and much much more in full colour for only £2.
We want to get as many fans as possible down to Brixton as possible so please bring your friends, bring your kids and spread the word that league ice hockey is alive in South London.
