Cardiff tickets on sale

Streatham have another big home game this weekend in Brixton as the Cardiff NIHL Devils come to the Capital for the second time this season. With a later than usual face off time of 5.30pm the Redskins will be hoping to put on a big display in front of their own fans ahead of a tough road trip to Romford the following day.

The Cardiff fixture has added spice as former Redskins player Rupe Quiney makes his first visit to South London since leaving the team for a two way deal with the Cardiff club. The last game between these two teams ended in a thrilling 3-3 tie and Streatham will be going all out to get both points this time round.

“Cardiff are a very well drilled team” admitted Streatham Alternate Captain Stewart Tait.

“They do the basics very well and have a nice balance of speed, grit and skill, they can play with any team in this league and on home ice are extremely difficult to beat”

“Mark Cuddihy (Cardiff Coach) does a fantastic job with them every year, they all know what their jobs are on the ice and will always play for each other, they are a decent outfit and will cause plenty of upsets in the league and everyone will want to avoid them come play-off time”
