Streatham Redskins featured in a feature on BBC London Radio last night as Team Manager Graham D’Anger was interviewed about the difficulties of trying to operate a team in a minority sport in the UK.
The main focus of the piece was regarding the upcoming NFL game at Wembley this weekend, but Graham did his best to plug North America’s ‘other game’.
“Obviously we get fantastic coverage from Radio Jackie” explained D’Anger.
“We were asked to do an additional piece by BBC London 94.9 and used it to try and plug our upcoming home game against Chelmsford in a week or so”
“We have a good team this year and we need to try and get as many fans through the door as possible to gain some momentum, hopefully the additional exposure will do us good”
